The four walls of the BMICH will vibrate today at 7.00 pm, when Annesley Malawana and Indrani Perera,the duo who has the legitimate right to the legacy of Sinhala Pop Music hero Clarence, Wijewardene, bring back memories of the fine compositions of Clarence backed by the vibrant group-"Gypsies" led by the ever green Sunil Perera.This will be the Sinhala pop show of the millennium" Annesley and Indrani in Concert" and is raising funds to help the future of the children made destitute by the cruel war living at "Gothama Lama Nivasa" in Panadura. Their beloved parents were victims of the cruel war.

The sponsors Sirasa TV and Radio will make it a meritorious evening with co-sponsors,Ceylon Cold Stores, Rohan’s Emporium and Rohan’s Plus, dealers for Far Products Annesley’s confidante, Marcelle De Silva being the live wire assisted by Annesley’s wife, Malee. The absence of Mallika Perera of the "Three Sisters" will be filled by her twelve year old daughter, Hiranya who lost her mother when she was eleven months old. Hiranya will make her debut today sing with aunties, Indrani and Irgangani to bring backthe memories of the "Three Sisters".

The never aging and ever green Wijaya Corea, who has held his own for nearly four decades, will be compereing at this memorable show It was he who introduced late Clarence, Annesley, Indrani and Sunil to Sinhala pop music.A variety of entertainment is on cards today with Corrine Almeida, Ronnie Leitch, Sohan Weerasinghe and Errol Fernando of "Los Cabelleros" fame on line to entertain the crowd. Errol will sing,"Master Sir",as a tribute to his late brother, Neville, another name in the Sinhala pop scene that will never fade. Channa Wijewardene and troupe are ready to perform many dance sequences.

Annesley and Indrani will sing many ever popular duets and others like, Sumudu Mal pipunu athu kone", "Pauvru walalak bendala" and "Mama eda gosin" which are still in the minds and hearts of those who loved compositions of Clarence Wijewardene. His wife, Shiela will be there to witness this occassion when Annesley, Indrani and Sunil pay a tribute to Clarence ,their mentor and hero.Annesley and Indrani say they owe much to Clarence who brought them fame unlike some ungrateful members of one of Clarence’s groups who boast that they sacked Clarence from one of the "chimes" which is unbelievable. Clarence was confident that the two legitimate persons were there to continue his legacy were Indrani and Annesley.

Indrani, Annesley and Sunil,household names will deliver this evening, the best in Sinhala pop. Indrani and Annesley will sing a few new songs of their new CD "Indrani and Annesley in concert" which will be released today at the show after a brief introduction by Wijaya Corea. The CD is produced by Sarath Kotelawala of Torana label. The show will start at 7.00 pm today.
