Minister of Power and Energy Anuruddha Ratwatte was rechristened as the Minister of Power and Vomiting by the Parliament Order Paper which created quite a laugh in the House last morning.

The ever active UNP MP A. H. M. Azwer just after sittings commenced pointed out the embarrassing printing mistake in the Tamil section of the Order Paper. A small error in the Tamil section made the "Minister of Power and Energy" read as "Minister of Power and Vomiting".

MP Azwer needling the Minister who was not present in the House at that moment cracked: "The minister must be vomiting all the ballots he ate during the election".

He snapped that Minister Rauff Hakeem must be in charge of cleaning the vomit, to the laughter of the MPs from both sides.

MP Azwer also wanted to clarify from the Prime Minister whether a new ministry had been created as the "Ministry of Power and Vomiting".

However Deputy Speaker Sarath Munasinghe who was in the chair, cheerfully dismissed the matter as a genuine printing error.
