| Keells go in for Indian fast food The John Keells Holdings group which pioneered internationally franchised fast food in Sri Lanka with Pizza Hut is now launching an Indian fast food restaurant in Colombo. Keells Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd., the company operating Pizza Hut, has got Sri Lanka franchise for Komalas Restaurants, a well known Indian fast food chain and will be opening their first restaurant at Union Place, Colombo on February 23. Keells Restaurants described what they will offer at Komalas as "real trendy, real vegetarian, real Indian and real fast." The Sekar Brothers who own Komalas will be here for the February 23 launch next to the Pizza Hut at Union Place. Keells Restaurants said that their Chairman Mr. V. Lintotawela, Mr. Sumithra Gunasekera, Managing Director of Keells Restaurants and the Sekar Brothers Managing Director will be present on that occasion. |
