Re-correction or an exercise in arithmetic?

The GCE (O/L) results are just out. Some students feel that they deserved better grades and want to apply for re-correction. Many feel that the process of re-correction only involves an adding of the marks already given.

Since a re-correction fee is paid, isn’t it only fair that the paper should be corrected by a fresh examiner? Over to you Mr. Minister.
