Over 175 suppliers representing 75 local and foreign companies have confirmed participation at a major construction exhibition to be held from June 22-24 at the BMICH, a press release said.

The exhibition 'Construct 2001' will showcase the latest products, services, techniques and concepts that would contribute to the growth of the construction industry in Sri Lanka.

It will also portray the potentital in the local construction industry, while bringing together many local and foreign companies who supply products and services to this sector of the economy, a spokesman for the organisers said.

The three day exhibition is organised by CDC Conventions (Pvt) Ltd for the National Construction Contractors Association of Sri Lanka (NCCASL). The NCCASL is the sole representative body for over 3,500 contractors in Sri Lanka.
