Sri Lanka Air Force Golden Jubilee Squash
All seeds fly in

The Sri Lanka Air Force Golden Jubilee Squash Open Tournament got underway on Monday, with all the country’s leading players in action playing in the Men’s and Women’s open matches.

All ranking players in the Women’s Open, Kushani Daluwatta, Shiwanthi Kotage and Minusha Hettiarachchi qualified for the semi finals by winning their first and second round matches with ease, while Tehani Guruge too qualified for the semis with a hard fought victory over Madara Dayasiri.

In the Men’s Open, Sri Lanka’s ranked players, Janaka Suwaris, A. Ravi Chandran, Duminda Wijedasa, R. S. Deen and Kyle Conrad qualified to play in the quarter finals after winning their respective third round matches. Kanthaka Withanachchi too qualified for the quarters after getting the better of Anthony Pille in an exciting third round match which was a five setter.
