The first batch of executives of Millennium Information Technologies (MIT) took part in a "Weekend Challenge" outward Bound training programme conducted by the Sri Lanka Business Development Centre in collaboration with Outward Bound Trust of Sri Lanka Dambulla recently, a Press release said.

This programme enabled the participants to deviate from their routine of daily life and venture into a world of outdoors and wilderness adventure and excitement. They participated in activities such as build-a-raft, games on building trust leadership and team problem solving. This was an integrated training programme to develop self-confidence, team spirit and leadership qualities and relate them to the work environment.

The participants had this to say about their experiences:— "It was very good training. I learnt how important team work is, and how to delegate work and also to be very attentive".
