The army and the LTTE yesterday negotiated through the ICRC to exchange bodies of three combatants killed in a confrontation at Kovilpoint, Welioya on Monday morning.

Army headquarters said that the LTTE was able to recover bodies of two soldiers while the army found one LTTE body. The exchange of bodies is expected to take place today.
