The Air Force yesterday completely destroyed the Toppigala Tiger base in Batticaloa district one of the largest LTTE bases.

Air Force sources said that the Tiger casualties were not known.

Meanwhile several Tiger positions in Palali in Jaffna also came under Air attacks an information that the LTTE was shifting their bases. (NP)
