The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKOON) will be celebrating the annual Krishna Janmasthami festival, the appearance day of Lord Sri Krishna on Sunday, 12th August at the Sri Radha Krishna Temple, 188, New Chetty Street, Colombo 13.

The programme will commence at 5.30 a.m. with the all auspicious mangala arathi (Pooja) and culminate at 12 o’clock midnight with Maha Abhishekam for Sri Radha Krishna followed by arathi (pooja) and prasadam distribution.

Some of the highlights of the festivals will include a procession of Baby Krishna at 6.00 a.m. and a colourful cultural programme in the evening until midnight.
