The talks between President Chandrika Kumaratunga and Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) leader Arumugam Thondaman scheduled for last evening was put off for today.

CWC sources said that Presidential Secretary K. Balapatabendhi has intimated yesterday about the postponement.

Thondaman will meet the President today.
