More remittances from abroad

Remittances of foreign exchange into the country had increased due to the Central Bank’s moves to appoint authorised money changers, banking sources said yesterday. Earlier people who received money from their spouses and children, brought into the country through illegal means, were drawn to the black market. Now all money brought in can be changed legally, the sources said. (FRS)
