The LTTE suffered a heavy setback during the past two days following the onslaught launched by the STF on LTTE targets in Kanjikudichchiaru, in the Ampara district.

STF Commander, DIG, Nimal Gunetilleke said that the STF personnel were not affected in the offensive.
