Invitation TT tourney
Suwini and Pubudu adjudged the best

Rukshan Dassanayake of Parakrama Vidyalaya, Bandarawatta, Gampaha and Kavin Fernando of Holy Cross College, Gampaha, won the under-9 and under-7 championship respectively, at the Invitation Table Tennis Tournament, held at Weliveriya, Gampaha, over the weekend.

Rukshan is a promising TT star, who earlier won the under-7 trophy at the Western Province Inter-School TT tournament, held earlier this year.

Kavin too displayed his prowess by finishing as the first runner-up at this meet.

Chairman, Pamankada Aluminium Com-pany, Sunil Hewatha distributed the prizes and trophies to the winners.

Under-19 boys — Pubudu Dassanayake (Bandaranayake College, Gampaha), Nuwan Wanniarachchi (Bandaranayake College, Gampaha).

Under-15 boys — M. Aravinda (BC Gampaha), Prasad Ruwanpathirana (BC Gampaha).

Under-13 boys — Ashen Sasanka Baddage (Holy Cross College, Gampaha), Madhusha Geemal (BC Gampaha).

Under-11 boys — Ashen Sasanka Baddage (Holy Cross College, Gampaha), Hasitha Nirangana (De Mazenod College, Kandana).

Under-9 boys — Rukshan Dassanayake (Bandarawatta Parakrama College, Gampaha), Sachith Prabhasha Perera (Holy Cross College, Gampaha).

Under-7 boys — Kaveen Fernando (Holy Cross College, Gampaha), Dhananjaya Sameera (Holy Cross College, Gampaha).

Under-15 girls — Suwini Nimesha (Holy Cross College, Gampaha), Kaushalya Nettasinghe (Holy Cross College, Gampaha).

Novices — girls — Amila Perera (Holy Cross College, Gampaha), Janitha Perera (Holy Cross College, Gampaha).

Men’s — doubles — Pubudu Dassanayake and Chulan Abeykoon (BC), Vidura Kalavitigoda and Prasad Ruwanpathirana (BC).
