KOMSTA to visit Sri Lanka for the second consecutive year

The Korean Overseas Medical Services Team Abroad (KOMSTA) will visit Sri Lanka for the second consecutive year in October 2001. KOMSTA is a non-governmental, non-profit making social service organization which endeavours to provide free medical services to the people in developing countries,

The KOMSTA’s first visit to Sri Lanka last year received overwhelming public response and as a result prompted the re-visit to Sri Lanka. During their first visit more than 4000 Sri Lankan patients received free medical treatment from the KOMSTA doctors. This year, the medical practice will be conducted in the areas of Colombo and Gampaha.

In order for the KOMSTA service to be successful and more beneficial to the Sri Lankan patients, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea is seeking the services of Korean-Sinhala interpreters who are willing to provide their services from 27th — 30th October 2001 at the practice venues. Interested individuals are requested to call 699036 - 8 and offer their services. Remuneration for the interpretation services will be Rs. 6000 for the 4 days duration.
