Caltex Lubricants Lanka Limited, the high performing quoted company leading the lubricants market, had recently signed off with Suntel to design and implement a communication solution that will introduce what Suntel called "a single number concept for ‘Caltex Total Solutions’ - at Caltex’s Customer Service Centre" serving the entire Caltex operation in Sri Lanka. |
Suntel explained that the facility that has been set up entail linking up Caltex’s new head office complex in Kollupitiya, its installation at Kolonnawa and the new warehouse complex at Wellampitiya for both voice and data communication.
"These locations were connected via a 2 MB link and an E 1 link. In addition to providing Caltex with digital features, the solution also gives them 3 digit dialing between the group and also the benefit of Suntel’s special intra-network tariff," Suntel said.
Suntel said that its cutting edge technology enables delivering customers’ specific solutions to telecommunication challenges and they were able to implement the new technology within the Caltex systems.
