Who is lying the masses

An ex-minister of PA says that he drafted the necessary papers in order to recover the bank loans taken by some influential people but the government was not in favour of such actions. A senior minister was informing the public over the ‘Swadesha Sevaya’ on 20/10 that no such action was initiated to bring the defaulters to the book. Now, we the public, do not know as to who is talking the truth. When such a controversy arises both the gentlemen should be invited to be present to a television debate and prove as to who is correct.

If one avoids such a debate purposely he should be considered to be a ‘pachaya’ with wide publicity given on the same TV channel. Only then we can stop a particular party’s politicians slinging mud to their counterparts. They should not be allowed to continue to lie the masses, for this generation does not have fools to believe such nonsense.

For just over 250 members of the parliament to enjoy a luxury life, debates and discussions could be seen these days focused on constitution, amendments, commissions etc. without scant regard to the sufferings of the masses, specially of the cost of living. Honestly, they are not finding ways and means to reduce the cost of living which should be the major discussion as it will benefit millions of people.

At the time of writing this letter the price of a packet of milk has been increased by Rs. 10 and further increase on essential commodities are on the card. Those who would receive the Rs. 1200 allowance could manage but what will be the plight of the people who will not get it?
