How to hold a free and fair election

1. All political party leaders should forward their comprehensive and workable implementation plan of ruling the country to a sealed box, 30 days prior to election date. All collected details should be highlighted to the general public through affluent press notifications.

2. All political parties that are contesting should be identified by a certain colour. Instead of making a (X) in the ballot paper before inserting the same into to the ballot box by the respective voters, they can select independently their interested colour ticket according to the choice of the party and it can be stapled to the ballot paper before inserting the same into the ballot box.

All colour tickets should be issued by the appointed civil servants, who are stationed inside the polling station - (Not those who are watching the interest at the entrance and the exit areas.) These colour tickets should be numbered according to the numerical order with the indication number to identify the seat and the polling station. As these colour tickets are issuing according to the numerical order, respective political parties are well aware about the number of votes that have received on their behalf even before the counting of votes, and this will lead to cross check figures finally when the counting is done at the counting centres. This course of action will avoid inserting duplicate votes or additional false votes to the ballot boxes, while those boxes are transporting to the counting centres for counting purposes.

3. Voters should be given a separate ballot paper and a ballot box to vote for their preferential candidate and same numbered colour ticket system could be adopted by giving a number to identify the seat, polling station and the candidate that is contesting. (This system will not obstruct several candidates to contest for one party. )

By adopting the above system, development progress of the election will be known by all parties instantly and accurately before counting of votes and transporting ballot boxes to the counting centres.

I believe that the Elections Commissioner including the party candidates should seriously follow this procedure in order to have a free and fair election.
