Complaints from parents of leading schools

We the parents of the children regret very much to bring to your kind notice regarding the school 3rd term.

The school was re-opened on September 26, after the paper marking and as a result after deducting the weekly holidays, only three school going days during September.

October: After deducting the 2 Poya Holidays which falls during October and the 8 weekly holidays totalling 10 in number, this leaves a balance of 21 school days.

November: We understand that the end of the term test is on the 8th and the school syllabus has to be completed by November 4 and the parents are worried as to what the children are going to do after the term test is over and the waste of time.

Once when the examination is over, the children will not bother either to study or to go to school until the re-opening of the school which will be in the year 2002.

When this question was taken up by the parents to the class teachers, they have been telling that they have to carry out the orders from the head of the school to complete the syllabus by the 4th.

Normally schools are conducted for three months and one month holiday for a term and now it is the other way about one month school and three months holidays!

Will the higher authorities of schools take some suitable action for the benefit of the children.
