Seeduwa police have launched a major investigation to apprehend the culprits behind Sunday’s assault on two Chinese nationals. Police sources said that statements of several persons have been recorded so far.

The two Chinese nationals currently being treated at the Ragama hospital too, have given statements to the police. Some have informed the police that PA supporters are behind the assault, but the police maintain that members of both parties (PA, UNP) are equally responsible. (NP)
