A spokesman of the PA Polls Watch when contacted on telephone number 387140 said they were not bound to reply the allegation contained in the Programme for Protection of Public Property.

He said "Don’t fax it to us for reply because we are not here to reply them."

He claimed that even a UNP candidate from the Colombo district representing the Kesbewa electorate was using a few state vehicles for the campaign, "Both sides are upto mischief and how are we to respond and the best is to dodge", he quipped requesting not to be quoted.
