The Mercantile Basketball Association Super League Tournament finals will be played on December 15 at Police Park, Havelock Road, Colombo commencing 5 p.m.

The first match will be among the two teams who will qualify to play for the ‘B’ Division Championship.

The most looked forward to event will be the ‘A’ Division final, which will be played at 6.45 p.m. between the star studded Hatton National Bank ‘A’, which includes six national players, against a young Delmege team. Only Delmege captain, Roshan Gunasekera counts years of basketball experience, while the others are all youth who have been groomed by their coach, Duncan Jayawardena to play against any tough opposition.

Delmege has already beaten Hatton National ‘A’ in their first encounter in this tournament, 94 - 86, and they definitely will be a force to be reckoned with.
