A 31st night dance set in a tropical rain forest! Sure, it’s happening.... and at the most talked-about-place in the city of Kandy — Hotal Thilanka, of course.

According to Roshan Perera, the hotel’s go-getter general manager, they have decided to call their New Year’s Eve dinner dance "A Jungle Party". And they plan to create the right kind of atmosphere in order to ensure that their "Jungle Party" turns out to be a memorable event.

"We are going to make it the biggest night of the year and probably one of the best dances to be held in Kandy", said Roshan.

"A Jungle Party" will feature the Army beat group as well as DJs from Cool Tempo.

Travine Ekanayake will handle the evening’s proceedings which is scheduled to blast off at 9.00 p.m.

There will be prizes, surprises, competitions, return airtickets, gift vouchers, exciting give-away at the entrance, ticket draw, raffle draw and lots more.

A couple will receive a souvenir photograph and there will also be a bottle of Scotch for every table of 10.

Tickets are priced at Rs. 1500/- per person (dinner dance) and Rs. 100/- per person (dance only).
