Kandy District Schools Under 14 team beat the visiting Surrey County Under 14 team for the second time, by 44 runs, at St. Anthony’s Grounds Katugastota.

The match was scheduled to be a 50 over affair but the overs were reduced to 35 due to bad weather.

Kandy skipper Chamara Kapugedera of Dharmaraja won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 164 for 8 in 35 overs. The Surrey County replied with 120 for 6 in 35 overs.
