The Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs has approved the following squad to represent Sri Lanka at the forthcoming Under 19 World Cup to be staged in New Zealand from January 14 to February 10.

The team is coached by Owen Mottau and is managed by Brendon Kuruppu.

According to a release issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka the squad is expected to take wing to New Zealand on January 12.

The Sri Lanka squad is as follows- Dhammika Niroshan (Captain), Jeevan Mendis (vice Captain), Kanchana Gunawardana, Gamini Chandrakumara, Charith Sylvester, Damith Indika, Eshan Abeysinghe, Sumalka Perera, Lasith Fernando, Upul Tharanga, Prasad Ranawake, Omesh Wijesiriwardana, Favreez Mahroof, Dhammika Prasad.
