Sri Lanka’s record breaking bowler, Muttiah Muralitharan, crowned himself as ‘king of spin’ when he grabbed his four hundreth test victim on the fourth day of the third and final test between Sri Lankan and Zimbabwe at the Galle International Stadium yesterday.

The cricket loving public of the country flocked to the Galle Stadium to witness this amazing feat, a sight which could only be viewed best by the naked eye.

But none of the top citizens of the country, including the Sports Minister, weren’t fortunate enough to see and share this historic achievement with Muralitharan.

The big question that has popped up in the minds of all is how these prominent figures of this country failed to be part of the celebrations.

Were they too busy with their daily work schedules, or do they really care?
