Saffraz Saldin with an unbeaten half century (57) propelled SSC ‘A’ to a resounding 7 wickets victory over Colombo Malay CC in the second round of the Colombo Division Cricket Association Div. III encounter, played at the SSC grounds.

Batting first, Colombo Malay CC were bundled out for 113 in 32 overs with M. M. K. Nawaz unbeaten on 29. Neville Perera and Kumudu Prasad captured 3 wickets each. SSC ‘A’ reached the target in 29.2 overs. With this win SSC ‘A’ qualified to play Kettarama SC in the semi-final and also qualifies to play in the All Island Div. III tournament.
