Hafiz Marikar in Kandy
Tissal Jayawardena was awarded the Ruggerite of the Year award at the Prize Giving of Trinity College which was held on Friday. Tissal Jayawardena did a good job last season as a player and the captain of the side. While at school he played for Havelock Sports Club and this time too he is tipped to play for the park club.

T. S. B. Welikumbura was awarded the RydeGold Medal, the highest award, at the Trinity College prize giving. He too was a ruggerite and played basketball.

Under 17 Best Batsman — R. M. Munaweera, Bolwer — I. P. Bamunusinghe, Fielder — C. J. Punchihewa, All-rounder — C. M. Fernando.
