| Ombudsman Will Moratuwa CEB chief hear? I wish to bring the following to the notice of the Ceylon Electricity Board (Moratuwa Branch) On February 16 (Saturday) workers came down our lane as well as the other parts of the area to clear the trees whose branches were touching the electric cables. It is a good thing to clear them but what the workers did was to cut all branches, trees etc. and dumped everything on the road (our lane). Most of the branches were just put in to the drain, which belongs to the U.C. The lorry never came and the residents had to clear the road, as there are many walking up and down, the vehicles are moving, children are playing. Why do they do like this? |
