Hatton National Bank the league winners of the MCA Premier division tournament are well poised to create history of the Mercantile cricket arena to take double for the first time when they take on the unpredictable John Keells Group in the final of the Singer - MCA Premier division knock out tournament today at NCC grounds , commencing at 10 am .

HNB the defending knock out champions already performed well to finish with an unbeaten record to take league title while John Keells Group , last year loosing semi finalist expected to take this title for the first time . Both sides are packed with all rounders and keen tussele to be expected on this final .

HNB side will led by Dulip Liyanage the fine all rounder while Punyakantha Abeygunasekera will be lead the John Keells side . Dulip Liyanege unfortunately not get chance to select for National side in this English tour but this discarded all rounder expected to repeat his abilities freash out of his honeymoon bed. How ever two key players Avishka Gunawardena and Chamara Silva are not included for HNB and both of them join with National team for forthcoming one day series . Anyway T.M Dilshan and Kumar Dharmasena the two experience players could turn out the game for their favour. . HNB defeated Sampath Bank by three wickets in their high scoring semi final game .

Meanwhile John Keells also expected to make good challenge with Skipper Abeygunasekera expected to get services of their two key players Micheal Vandort and Jehan Mubarak . Vandort hit fine century in the semi final game against Janashakthi Group while Mubarak took 5 for 39 in this same match to enter final . Young Sumalka Perera and Thilina Thushara and paceman Jaminda Sigera also the key players of the John Keells

The match referee cum adjudicator will be Ken de Alwis for this final .
