| Funny clothes and funny names I really enjoy
G. Usvatte-aratchis provocative articles to your paper. But I find his last article
(7/7) rather disconcerting in the unequal (unfair?) treatment given to S. W. R. D.
Bandaranaike whom the writer insists on calling "Solomon" which name SWRD never
used. What makes this usage unfair is that Dr. U refers to J. R. Jayewardene and C. W. W.
Kannangara by the initials they preferred to be known by - never as Junius or Christopher.
Do I smell an unbecoming whiff of contempt dear G (??) Usvatte-aratchi? |
