The awards ceremony of the Mercantile Chess Association’s All Island Open Championships held recently at Union Assurance Ltd., will be held on July 15 (Monday) at 3.00 p.m. in the Union Assurance aditorium.

The Minister of Economic Reforms, Science and Technology Milinda Moragoda will be the chief guest with the Russian Ambassador as the guest-of-honour.

A lighting chess tourney will be conducted on that day between players of the Champion team Shenid Software International and Union Assurance team.
