Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation yesterday said that retired DIG Premadasa Udugampola is the managing director of LRDC Services (Pvt) Ltd and not of Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation as mentioned in the page 1 news item headlined "Ex-DIG Udugampola in new role", appearing in yesterday’s issue.

Reporter’s note - The news item was based on a press release issued by the National Housing Development Authority which comes under the Housing and Plantation Infrastructure Ministry. The release on the proposed removal of unauthorized constructions within housing schemes, requested affected parties to contact Mr. Udugampola, identified as Managing Director, Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation.
