Uswatte on ‘Mr. Pop’

Uswatte Marketing Services (Pvt.) Ltd. yesterday issued the following statement in response to a news story headlined ‘Mr. Pop’ claims baby’s life appearing in the September 20 issue.

"We noted with deep regret the news of the tragic death of a child due to a rubber ball given with a snack product getting stuck in the throat.

Our Company is being inundated with telephone calls making complaints against us to this incident.

This is to inform the general public the product in question is not manufactured by us.
