| Two Germans fined for possessing butterflies From
Neminda Samarajeewa The suspects, who were handed over to the police by wildlife officers, were later produced before court and fined Rs. 30,000 each. The two foreigners, Wolf Dister Brasswin and Neubomer, pleaded guilty to the charge, police said. Some of the butterflies had been hurt during capture, police said. The detection was made by Moneragala wildlife officer L. K. Chandrakumara. |
