That SLMM report!

According to The Island April 4, 2003 SLMM could not rule out the possibility that armed elements not recognized by the government and the LTTE were operating in the government or LTTE controlled area. The incidents referred to were the attacks in the sea, on the Chinese fishing trawler and Lanka Muditha.

The statement of the SLMM raises an interesting question. Is there an LTTE controlled area in the sea? Is it in the MoU? Or, is it something which has been put into effect recently? If so, what are the boundaries? Or is it something which they intend granting to the LTTE soon? For the sake of peace have we gone to the extent of handing over part of our sea too to the LTTE?

It is time we said enough is enough. Sri Lanka can tolerate fools but not knaves!
