1. What sort of a person would you say you are?

I’m quite simple in my ways. I’m friendly and helpful and I like to listen when people talk. To be honest, I generally don’t talk much.

2. Is there anything you dislike about yourself?

Nothing in particular. I wouldn’t know later on whether I would look at myself differently. But right now I’m quite happy with myself.

3. Where were you educated?

Good Shepherd’s Convent, Kandy.

4. Are you employed?

I work as a secretary in a reputed company in Colombo.

5. What’s the most exciting experience you have had?

I don’t know what to call it — horrifying or exciting! I was travelling to Colombo from Kandy by train. I was fast asleep when a commotion woke me up. One of the compartments was in flames. However, we managed to get to Veyangoda with people screaming and crying. Perhaps, it was horrifying and exciting — both in one!

6. Your first date?

I’ve put it on hold!

7. Are you superstitious?

I believe only in my self-confidence.

8. Are you religious?

Yes, very much. I always pray before I make a decision. I ask the Lord to guide me. I thank Him for my success and I also talk to Him about my failures.

9. Does anything make you particularly happy?

My office environment is one place that brings me happiness. I work with an active and a very co-operative young crowd.

10. What is important to you in a guy — looks or personality?

The important thing is personality where I’m concerned.

11. Can you describe your favourite type of guy?

I would see him as tall, lean, light tan and straight hair. Well, that would be his physical appearance. Then he has got to have a good personality —`A0also be calm and simple. Yes, and I need him to shoulder responsibilities, especially in difficult situations.

12. How do you like to see a guy dressed?

For office wear — long sleeves, tie and matching trousers. T-shirt and denim for casual wear.

13. How do you like to dress?

Coat and pants, in dark colours, for office wear, and if it’s just casual wear, small, silky light colour tops and dark colour stretch pants.

14. Describe your ideal vacation?

A beach-side resort, somewhere like Unawatuna, because I’m very fond of sea-bathing, boat-riding and anything to do with water sports.

15. Have you any time—consuming hobbies?

Plenty – watching TV, listening to the radio, reading, chatting with friends and swimming. For each of these hobbies, or interests, I have a scheduled time.

16. What kind of people do you enjoy being with?

I can find enjoyment with any kind of people —`A0male or female, little ones, young ones, elders, aunts, uncles, grandmas and grandpas!

17. How do you relax?

I go for a good nap.

18. Who are your favourite recording stars?

No one in particular.

19. Favourite radio station?

I like E!FM. I like their style.

20. Future plans?

To complete my higher studies, polish up my performance, to become a personal assistance and to end up having my own house.
