Pakistani Speaker here

C. H. Amir Hussain, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan was received at the Bandaranaike International Airport on his arrival on Monday by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alhaj A. H. M. Azwer. The visiting Speaker was accompanied by parliamentarians Rubina Shaheen Watoo, Sardar Shajehan Yusuf, Mohamed Faiz Taman, Mahmood Saleem Mahmood, Feroze Khan (secretary of the delegation) and four other senators.

This Pakistani delegation is here to attend the Regional Seminar for Parliamentarians of South and West Asia, which began yesterday at the Trans Asia Hotel, Colombo under the Chairmanship of Speaker Joseph Michael Perera.

Heads of Parliaments and other dignitaries from India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iran and several other countries have arrived to participate in the seminar.
