BSS installs HP Open View at SriLankan Airlines

Business Solution Systems recently signed an agreement with the SriLankan Airlines on the successful completion and hand over of the HP Open View Istallation. Panduka Weeraratne, Manager Network Engineering & Development of SLA and Mushtaq Rehman, CEO of BSS signed the agreement of successful implementation and acceptance of the project. BSS was successful in winning the bid for supplying and installing of HP Open View at the SriLankan Airlines.

This project was awarded to BSS after a competitive bid among all the leading ICT vendors in Sri Lanka. The key criteria for SLA to award this project to BSS were their in-house technical competency and previous experience in installing similar solutions within their customer base in Sri Lanka. BSS deployed the HP Open View Network Node Management module and is the largest Open View operation in Sri Lanka.

This solution enables the Networks and Communications team of SLA to remotely manage and monitor their ICT infrastructure within their global network from the locations of Katunayake

and Colombo. Sri Lankan Airlines is the flagship carrier of Sri Lanka and is partly owned by the Emirates Airlines and the Sri Lankan government. The management is by the Emirates Airlines under an agreement entered into between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Emirates Airlines.
