UAL produces seven LIMRA winners

Seven outstanding achievers in Life sales at Union Assurance qualified for the prestigious LIMRA IQA award, the highest number produced by a Sri Lankan insurer to date.

The winners are Udan Silva of UAL’s Kalutara Branch who was adjudged UAL’s Champion of Champions for the fourth consecutive year, A. Edirweerasingam, G. S. D. Surangana and L. E. R. C. Sunanda of the City office and Prasanna Senaratne, Denzil Silva and B. H. Padmasiri of the Kurunegala, Negombo and Nugegoda branches respectively. They were presented with the LIMRA Certificate of Recognition by CEO UAL Mr. H. A. Rehmanjee at a celebration lunch at Trans Asia hotel. Seals are affixed to this certificate, when winners qualify for the award in subsequent years.

LIMRA IQA (Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association International Quality Award) is widely recognised proof of professionalism in life insurance. LIMRA is an annual award that honours Life insurance sales personnel for excellence in sales performance and in meeting stringent customer satisfaction criteria in Life business. This is the first time ever that UAL has had seven award winners who have written quality business that met for 2003. In 2001 alone, 23,087 awards were made in 28 countries.
