Colombo District Basketball Association in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Schools Basketball Association will conduct a junior jamboree on June 28, 29 and July 12 and 13 from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. each day.

The dates and venues are:

June 28 at St. Sebastian College, Moratuwa for boys and on June 29 at St. Joseph’s Girls School, Nugegoda for girls.

July 12 at Sirimavo BV, Colombo 7 for girls and on July 13 at Ananda College Colombo for boys.

The program will be conducted by the coaches and trainers of the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation (SLBF).

The present coaching program includes introduction to basketball, rules of the game, coaching, sports, medicine, nutrition, fitness, orientation, technical and physical training aspects.

All interested parents who are residents of the Colombo district are invited to bring their children (12 years and under) to the above venue.
