To strengthen trade links between Sri Lanka and Taiwan, The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) in association with the Taipei World Trade Center is organizing a Taiwan products catalogue exhibition.

The exhibition is scheduled for September 16, 2003, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at the "Atrium Lobby," Colombo Plaza Hotel.

According to a Chamber Spokesman, The Taiwan Catalogue Exhibition will feature a unique selection of products Catalogues. There will be over 200 Catalogues furnishing details of 5,000 products available in Taiwan. These products include: - AC Capacitors for Motors, AC-DC Adaptors, Air Motors, Air Pumps, Amplifiers, Speakers, Auto Cigarette Lighters, Auto spare parts, Car seat covers, Circuit Breakers, Control Accessories, Converters, Cooling Fans and Heat Sinks, Diesel Engine Generators, Digital Meter Relay, Digital Panel Meter, D-Image Filing System, DVD Players, Fuses and Fuse Holders, Gear Motors / Controllers, Insulating terminals, Laser tools, LED Drivers, Lock Screws, Lubricating Systems, Magnetic Contractor, Mechanical Seals, Micro Processor, Microphones, Motor Controllers, Pilot Lamp, Portable Wireless Amplifier System, Process Transmitters, Push bottom, Push wheel switches, Regulators, Scales, Screws and Nuts, Security Alarms, Immobilizes, Pagers and Central Locks, Silicon Rubber Products, Soldering materials, Spray Guns, Steering Wheel Covers, Telecommunication and LAN parts, Temperature Controllers, Transformers, Voice Over IP Gateway systems, Wide Angle Scale Instrument, Wiring Devices and many more mechanical electrical and electronic.

The CCC believes that the exhibition will provide a valuable opportunity for local importers and manufacturers to identify the latest items that are available for import from Taiwan. During 2002, Sri Lanka has imported nearly Rs. 2,264m worth of mechanical, electrical and electronic items from Taiwan. Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
