Pan Asia Bank clears cheques in one day

Pan Asia Bank (PAB) announces the introduction of "One Day Clearing" facility for all cheques drawn on their island wide network of Branches for clearance through the clearing house.

The Bank with a vision of being the most customer preferred bank in Sri Lanka has taken steps to not only satisfy their customers but ensure that those organisations and individuals dealing with PAB receive an equally satisfying service with the introduction of the new facility.

This expedited clearing system which is achieved through a "process centralization effort" adds value to our customers by creating greater acceptability of their cheques said J N L Jayakody, AGM Operations & Administration of the Bank.

PAB customers can carry out their transactions online at any of the PAB Branches spread islandwide, irrespective of the branch where they maintain accounts.

This is a service offered only by a limited number of banks and PAB is set to become a totally service oriented bank.

The bank currently offers extended banking hours upto 6.00 p.m and is open to customers even on Saturdays at selected branches in the PAB branch network consisting of 13 Branches located at the World Trade Centre - Colombo, Kollupitiya, Bambalapitiya, Pettah, Panchikawatte, Rajagiriya, Nugegoda, Ratnapura, Gampaha, Negombo, Kandy, Kurunegala and Matara

Most of PAB branches have been equipped with user-friendly ATM Machines with state-of-the-art facilities such as touch screen system, and several other service options.

The introduction of expedited clearing process, online real time banking service, extended banking hours and Saturday banking, and introduction of ATM network, clearly reflects Pan Asia Bank’s retail focused strategy to meet the growing demand for greater and efficient levels of customer service said Deputy/CEO Bradley Emerson.
