An art exhibition of Indian Poems by an American Photographer WASWO X.WASWO. who has travelled India for nearly a decade photographing the country’s landscape, life and people will be presented in Sri Lanka. In this the first travelling exhibition of his work, Waswo displays the sepia-toned black and white photographs that have become his trade mark.

‘India Poems’ will be exhibited in Sri Lanka at the Art Gallery of Alliance Francaise de Kandy, No. 412, Peradeniya Road, Kandy from November 7th to November 13th.

‘India Poems’ consists over 25 sepia-toned black and white photographs. “Many Sri Lankans have special interest in their neighbour India while others have cultural ties,” says Waswo “I hope that this exhibition enables the viewers to look across the water and that the photographs convey a deep feeling of what India is all about,” he said.
