Nuski to manage Sri Lanka 'A'

Nuski Mohammed (former BCCSL Secretary) has been appointed by Sri Lanka Cricket as the Manager of the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team which is shortly to undertake a tour of India to participate in the ACF (Asian Cricket Foundation) one day triangular tournament.

Apart from Sri Lanka the other two teams in the competition would be Pakistan and hosts India.

Following the completion of the tour Sri Lanka ‘A’ will remain to play three four day games and a two day game against India ‘A’, a SLC source told ‘The Island’.

Meanwhile, former Sri Lanka captain and leg spinner D S de Silva has been appointed as the coach of the Sri Lanka Under 19 team with effect from October 1, 2003.
