Shareholders of Hayleys Ltd., the blue chip conglomerate,
gave Mr. Sunil Mendis, the retiring Chairman/CEO of the Group, a warm
send-off at the last annual general meeting of the company he chaired on
Friday prior to leaving on Wednesday the company in which he had a 42-year
career, ten of them as chairman.
