Resume talks based on ISGA, TNA tells Govt.

‘Rehabilitation & resettlement must be expedited’

TNA leader R. Sampanthan yesterday urged the government to resume talks with the LTTE without further delay, on the basis of the Interim Self-Governing Authority proposals.

He said that all political parties and groups wanted to continue with the peace process. He said this in the Parliament after Speaker W. J. M. Lokubandara gave him time to make a special statement on peace process.
