Quins win hearts, gain support

The Health ministry has decided to provide financial assistance to the family of the quintuplet’s, born on Tuesday, from the health development Fund. Health Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva offered to provide a monthly allowance of Rs. 5000 for their milk food and medical requirements for a period of five years, when he visited the quintuplets and their mother at the Castle Street maternity hospital yesterday.

Meanwhile, The Chairman of Richard Peiris Tyre Centre, Henry Peiris expressed his wish to help the five infants and their family.

The Director of Castle Street Hospital, Dr. W. Karandagoda requested the donors and well wishers to send their contributions to quintuplets’ mother’s account - W. M. Chamila Kumari, No- 10084-02-36-30-6 at National Savings Bank, Pilimatalawa. Nimal Piyatissa, the father can be contacted on Tel: 081-2579879.
