amended illegally

It is an offence punishable under the Penal Code to attempt an amendment to the Constitution outside the existing laws and any persons who make such an effort would be punished under the Law when a UNP government comes to power, UNP spokesman and former Constitutional Affairs Minister Prof G.     CCS to purchase Ginger directly from farmers

    Ceylon Cold Stores Limited (CCS), the pioneer manufacturers of carbonate soft drinks and ice cream in Sri Lanka, has entered in to a "forward Sales Contact" under the "Govi Sahanaya " scheme introduced by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The agreement was singed recently with the aim of having direct contract with the Ginger farmers in the Hataraliyadda and Pujapitiya areas in a bid to ensure that CCS Ginger Beer production is by using the freshest of ginger available.
