Sri Lanka Army were due to meet Rithira Resorts team in a game to decide the points table leader in the Maldives Volleyball Federation Invitation Cup Volleyball Tournament in Male, Maldives on Friday. The tournament is conducted on a league basis.

SL Army took two points after they defeated the Maldivian national champions Wani in the curtain-raiser of the tournament. Rithiira won their first match against National Defence Services team (NSS) thus equalising the Lankans in the points table. Todaygame is expected to be a close one with both teams trying hard to top the tables in their attempt to win this year’s championship.
